My name is Kevin L. Blake. AKA Bandit. I am the Founder of Flag Poles Honoring Our Veterans. I started this 501c3 nonprofit group in March of 2020. Our goal is to grow and touch other Veterans around the country. We work strictly by donations to purchase the flagpoles, concrete, solar lights and American made flags. And all the work is done by very gracious volunteers we like to call “The Red White & Blue Crew”. Some would think that just a flagpole in their yard is not much. But to our Veterans it means the world to them. They fought, drop tears & sweated for that flag. It’s our small way of saying Thank You for all you did to protect our freedom.
My name is Ginger Blake, aka Booger.
I am the Co-Founder & Secretary for Flagpoles Honoring our Veterans. I am beyond proud to be a part of FPHOV & wholeheartedly believe in our mission. Every Veteran should have a flagpole in their yard & it is truly our honor to provide one for them. Every time we install a flagpole I can’t help but tear up a little & smile from ear to ear as I watch the Veteran get emotional receiving their flagpole & flag. Our goal is to touch as many Veterans as we can & let them know we greatly appreciate their sacrifice & service for our freedom!
Being a true patriot, I have found a true meaning in Flagpoles Honoring our Veterans. Being able to bring honor to our Veterans who have given so much, to defend our country, is nothing compared to what each of them sacrificed. It is an honor and a privilege to give a small token of appreciation. I have found a family in FPHOV. A family that has the same love and respect for our Veterans.
I did not serve in the military, but I am proud to say my brother served as well as countless family members. My family military history can be traced all the way back to the Revolutionary War. It gives me honor and great joy to be a part of such a fantastic organization such as Flag Poles Honoring Our veterans, I truly appreciate everything they do and stand for.
Honoring these veterans is the very least I can do to show my appreciation for all the sacrifices they made to give us the privilege to live in freedom. Because of them, I get to enjoy my other passions, my family, and my motorcycle.

My husband Lafe, a USMC Veteran, was nominated for a flagpole by our daughter 2yrs ago. It was a day we will always remember. We both knew FPHOV was a group we wanted to volunteer with. Seeing how much this experience means to our Veterans is truly amazing. It has become one of our favorite ways to spend time with our grandchildren. I'm looking forward to 2025. We are planning a lot of events and looking forward to meeting all our new Veteran's and their families.
Helping nonprofits and building the community is what its all about. I love supporting our Veterans and making them feel loved where ever possible. Quiet until I come out of my shell, then beware of shenanigans!
FPHOV gives me the opportunity to give back to so many Veterans that have sacrificed so much for all. It is genuinely my honor to devote my time recognizing and honoring these heros.
Hey Tony, if I could I would be you!
